Stacy London and Clinton Kelly to Reunite for New Show on Prime Video
Stacy London and Clinton Kelly, the beloved duo from the hit TLC series "What Not to Wear," are coming back together for a new series titled "Wear Whatever the F You Want." This fresh show marks a return for the pair, who last worked together on their popular fashion makeover program that aired from 2003 to 2013.
The first trailer for "Wear Whatever the F You Want" has just been released, showcasing their unique approach to fashion, focusing more on personal expression rather than strict style guidelines. According to a press release, they will be assisting clients in New York City to embrace their individual style and overcome fashion rules that may hold them back.
The show is produced by Sandy Varo Jarrell, Suzanne Rauscher, Justin Rae Barnes, and Janelle Couture, with Barnes also serving as the showrunner. The production is a collaboration between All3Media’s Bright Spot Content and Amazon MGM Studios.
In a recent interview, London and Kelly reflected on their time with "What Not to Wear" and how it impacted the lives of their participants. London noted, “The clothes were just the jumping-off point to feel like, ‘Things can change and they can change quickly.’ It really empowered people.”
This new series aims to shift away from the rules they inadvertently created in their previous show. Rather than dictating fashion standards, London and Kelly intend to celebrate personal styles, recognizing that norms in society have evolved significantly since the days of "What Not to Wear." They stated, “These days, we have zero interest in telling people what to do based on society’s norms — because there are no more norms!”
"Style is still an important form of communication," they added, expressing excitement about showing clients how to align their clothing choices with their personal goals.
In recent years, the pair reconciled after a decade-long feud following the release of Kelly’s book, which brought their past tensions to light. They resolved their differences during the pandemic, discussing the misunderstandings that had caused their fallout.
"Wear Whatever the F You Want" will premiere on April 29 on Prime Video, offering fans of the duo a chance to see their trademark humor and style transformation in an all-new light.
