Three people have been arrested after the home of Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders was broken into last year.
The Medina County Sheriff’s Office said that the three were caught on November 16, 2025, entering Sanders’ house around 6:46 p.m.
Security cameras at Sanders’ home recorded the suspects as they went in and out of different parts of the house.
The police said the suspects were wearing masks and gloves. They were seen leaving the house around 6:58 p.m. with items belonging to Sanders.
About $200,000 worth of property was stolen, according to police.
The sheriff’s office said they finished investigating the crime and identified the three suspects and the driver of the car involved.
However, one suspect is still missing, and there’s a warrant out for their arrest.
The break-in happened while Sanders was playing in his first NFL game against the Baltimore Ravens. He started playing in the second half after another player got hurt.
Police said the thieves got into Sanders’ house through an unlocked door and stole $200,000 worth of items in just 12 minutes.
A few days after the break-in, Sanders talked about how he was dealing with it.
He said that he wasn’t too bothered by it and that none of his jewelry was stolen. He also mentioned that he was in a good place mentally and emotionally.
Sanders added that there will always be challenges in life, and things won’t always go as planned, but he feels ready for anything.
