Rylee Arnold and Robert Irwin are setting the stage for an exciting season of “Dancing with the Stars.” Arnold, a talented 19-year-old dancer, recently expressed her hope of partnering with the 21-year-old Australian conservationist and TV star during a podcast in September 2024. Her dream may soon come true.
At a recent Disney Entertainment Television event, it was officially announced that Robert Irwin, the son of the late Steve Irwin, known as the “Crocodile Hunter,” will be joining the cast of Season 34 of the hit dancing competition. Excitement filled the air when Robert, with a snake draped over his shoulders, shared his enthusiasm about being part of the show. He reminisced about how his sister, Bindi Irwin, participated in the show back in 2015, stating he had always hoped to follow in her footsteps.
Robert recalled, “I said, ‘One day, that’s gonna be me,’ and now that dream is a reality! Let’s do this!” His excitement is palpable as he prepares for this big opportunity.
During the same podcast where she shared her partner aspirations, Rylee mentioned how she had a feeling that Robert would be her partner, saying, “I had this thought that Robert Irwin was gonna be my partner because I kind of put it out into the atmosphere.” She noted that the buzz from fans intensified the possibility, leading her to speculate, “It could be them.”
However, last season, Rylee was paired with Olympic gymnast Stephen Nedoroscik for Season 33. She recalled her excitement at being partnered with him, as she felt they would make a great team.
Stephen, who is eager to bring his gymnastic skills to the dance floor, expressed his excitement in an interview, sharing that he wants to infuse some of his signature moves into their performances.
As of now, the identities of Rylee and Robert’s partners for the new season remain a mystery, but fans are eagerly awaiting the full cast announcement. The competitive spirit is high, and both Arnold and Irwin seem ready to shine on the dance floor!
