One Killed, Others Wounded in Border Region Ahead of Peace Talks
Belgorod, Russia – Officials in the Belgorod region, which borders Ukraine, reported a tragic incident Sunday. According to local authorities, a Ukrainian drone struck a car, resulting in one death and injuries to two others, including a young child. This occurred as discussions about ending the conflict continue.
Meanwhile, in Ukraine’s Kharkiv region, officials stated that three people were injured in separate drone strikes. Additionally, the death toll from a prior Russian missile attack on Kharkiv rose to four, with more bodies discovered in the rubble.
These incidents come as European and American leaders have been meeting to talk about ways to support Ukraine and find a path toward peace. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that discussions about finding a peaceful solution are moving forward. He noted that meetings were planned with European leaders in Paris. The hope is that these discussions will lead to a more secure future.
