Mickey Rourke, the actor known for roles in movies like “The Wrestler,” is reportedly facing eviction from his Los Angeles bungalow. According to a lawsuit, Rourke owes nearly $60,000 in unpaid rent.
The lawsuit states that Rourke rented the property earlier this year, initially agreeing to pay $5,200 a month, which later increased to $7,000. The landlord claims Rourke has not paid rent, leading to the substantial debt.
The three-bedroom house is located near the LA County Museum of Art and the Los Angeles Farmer’s Market. The landlord issued a notice to Rourke in December, demanding payment of the outstanding rent or asking him to leave the property.
The landlord is seeking compensation for damages and legal fees.
This news comes after Rourke’s recent agreement to leave “Celebrity Big Brother UK” following warnings about his behavior on the show.
