Kid Rock Pays Tribute to Charlie Kirk with Powerful Song
During a recent concert in Arizona, Kid Rock took a moment to honor the late Charlie Kirk, a well-known conservative voice.
Kid Rock, filling in for Cody Johnson, who is recovering from surgery, surprised the audience by adding a new verse to Johnson’s popular song, “‘Til You Can’t.” Before singing, Kid Rock shared that he woke up one Sunday morning with the strong feeling that the song needed another verse. He felt divinely inspired to write it down.
As Kid Rock sang the new verse, images of Charlie Kirk appeared on the screens behind him, creating a moving tribute.
The new lyrics focused on the importance of faith and finding forgiveness:
“There’s a book that is sitting in your house somewhere that could use some dusting off / There’s a man that died for all our sins / Hanging from the cross / You can give your life to Jesus / And He’ll give you a second chance / ’Til you can’t, ’til you can’t.”
The crowd responded with loud cheers, showing their appreciation for both the song and the memory of Kirk.
Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, was known for his conservative views and strong Christian beliefs. His unexpected passing deeply affected many. Kid Rock, like many others, has expressed his sadness and concern over the direction of the country following Kirk’s death, criticizing those who fuel division.
