Los Angeles Investigation Underway After Two Found Dead
Los Angeles, CA – Police are investigating the deaths of a man and woman found at a home in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles on Sunday. Law enforcement officials are questioning a family member as they work to understand the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The Los Angeles Police Department responded to a call for medical aid at approximately 3:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered a 78-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman deceased inside the residence. Authorities suspect that the victims suffered stab wounds.
While the identities of the deceased have not been officially released by the Los Angeles Police Department, reports indicate the home belongs to actor and director Rob Reiner and his wife Michele. Detectives from the Robbery Homicide Division are treating the case as a homicide.
Reiner is known for his work in Hollywood, directing films such as “A Few Good Men” and “The Princess Bride.” He also gained fame for his role as Meathead in the television series “All in the Family.”
Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass released a statement acknowledging Reiner’s contributions to American culture and his work as a political activist.
The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
