The entertainment world is reeling from the tragic news surrounding the Reiner family. Nick Reiner, the son of Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner, has been arrested and charged with murder in connection with their deaths.
Rob and Michele were found dead in their Los Angeles home on Sunday, December 14th. Reports indicate their daughter, Romy, made the discovery.
Law enforcement officials have confirmed that Nick Reiner is in custody, with bail set at $4 million. Prior to his arrest, he was reportedly being questioned by the Los Angeles Police Department.
Emergency services responded to a call for medical assistance at the Reiner residence on Sunday afternoon. Sadly, upon arrival, both Rob and Michele were found deceased.
Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner were married in 1989, the same year his movie “When Harry Met Sally…” came out. Together, they had three children, including Nick. Nick has been open about his past struggles with drug addiction and homelessness.
Rob Reiner was a well-known director, celebrated for films such as “This Is Spinal Tap,” “Stand By Me,” “The Princess Bride,” and “A Few Good Men.” He was also the son of the famous comedian Carl Reiner and gained recognition early in his career on the TV show “All in the Family.”
