Tropical Storm Priscilla has formed in the Pacific Ocean, near Mexico.
Weather experts say Priscilla is a large storm, with winds reaching 45 mph. The storm is about 285 miles southwest of Manzanillo, Mexico, and moving northwest slowly.
A tropical storm watch is in place for part of Mexico’s southwestern coast, from Punta San Telmo to Punta Mita. Storm conditions are possible in this area over the next few days.
Priscilla is expected to become a hurricane soon and is predicted to travel parallel to the coast.
Another storm, Octave, is also in the Pacific, but it is far from land and not expected to cause any problems for coastal areas. Its winds are around 65 mph.
