A recent road rage incident in Kitsap County, Washington, took an unusual turn when a passenger in a truck shot fireworks at another vehicle. This surprising moment was captured on the woman’s dashcam.
The incident occurred on Saturday, February 1, around 9 p.m. The passenger was in a four-door Dodge truck that was following the woman on Central Valley Road. After several minutes of tailing her, the truck overtook the woman’s car, and that’s when the fireworks began flying.
Authorities reported that the dashcam footage showed the so-called “Roman candle” fireworks being shot from the truck at multiple angles. Despite the fireworks display, the woman tried to escape the situation by driving away, but the truck kept pursuing her. At one point, she could see the passenger aiming fireworks directly at her car.
The woman was able to drive into a nearby store parking lot, at which point the truck left the scene. It remains unclear what sparked this road rage episode.
Local police are urging anyone who might have information regarding the incident to contact them. Both the truck’s driver and passenger are wanted for questioning.
This bizarre event has raised concerns, not only for public safety but also about the proper use of fireworks, which are banned in several states.
