Pennsylvania Community Mourns Loss of Fallen Officers
NORTH CODORUS, Pa. – A somber cloud hangs over southern Pennsylvania as the community grapples with the tragic loss of three police officers who were fatally shot Wednesday. Two additional officers were wounded in the incident, before law enforcement took down the shooter.
The officers were responding to a domestic incident that originated the previous day, highlighting the daily dangers faced by those who protect our communities.
“This is a heartbreaking day,” said a state official at a press conference. “We are deeply saddened by the loss of these brave men who dedicated their lives to serving and safeguarding our neighborhoods, commonwealth and nation.”
