Noah Wyle, known for his role in The Pitt, recently shared that he is not a fan of dancing. During his appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show on April 8, he explained why he chose not to participate in the show’s signature dance introduction.
On the show, guests typically walk down a hallway where the staff serenades them. However, Wyle, who is 53 years old, told Hudson that he was not comfortable joining in. He mentioned that doing so might have triggered a previous emotional moment he experienced on the show just weeks prior.
When Hudson inquired about his hesitation, Wyle recounted a humorous memory from 1984 at a classmate’s bar mitzvah. He fancied himself a break dancer back then but ended up falling flat while attempting a dance move in front of his classmates. Now, he has decided to steer clear of public dancing altogether.
“I would not have been as enthusiastic as the others,” he admitted. “Nobody needs to see that.” Wyle jokingly suggested he might try a softer approach next time, perhaps taking smaller steps.
Hudson kindly reassured him, saying, “We’re just happy to have you here.” They later discussed an idea for a bike race during his next visit, which was something Wyle used to do with his ER co-stars.
The playful exchange concluded with Wyle expressing a desire to attempt the spirit tunnel next time, indicating he would be up for the challenge.
Ultimately, Hudson emphasized that the show is all about celebrating its guests, and Wyle’s charm and personality shone through despite his reluctance to dance. The episode featured light-hearted moments, showcasing the supportive atmosphere of the show.
As for The Pitt, its season finale will air on April 10, promising more exciting content for fans.
