The New Hampshire House just passed House Bill 1792, the “Countering Hate and Revolutionary Leftist Indoctrination in Education Act,” now known as the CHARLIE Act, in honor of the late, great Charlie Kirk. The vote was 184-164. This bill will finally bring some much-needed oversight to what our kids are being taught in public schools.
This is about protecting our children from the radical left’s agenda. It’s about ensuring that schools are places of education, not indoctrination centers.
The bill aims to stop the spread of divisive ideologies. Things like Critical Race Theory and radical gender ideology have no place in our classrooms.
Fighting the Woke Indoctrination Machine
Representative Jason Osborne, the House majority leader, put it perfectly. He said our kids are being subjected to “critical race theory and radical gender ideology… as doctrine, as gospel.” Enough is enough! Parents should be in charge, not radical teachers.
This bill is about restoring parental rights. It’s about giving communities more control over what their children are learning. We need to take back our schools from the left-wing ideologues who are trying to corrupt our kids.
We must stop the “woke” mob from brainwashing our children. They’re pushing a radical agenda. The left wants to rewrite history and indoctrinate our kids with their divisive ideology.
What This Means for the Future
The left, of course, is crying foul. Representative Loren Selig claims teachers aren’t “indoctrinating students into Marxism.” Are they really trying to gaslight us? She says this will just create “expensive lawsuits, not better schools.”
But this is about more than just lawsuits. It’s about the future of our nation. If we let the left control our schools, they will control the future. They’re betting on a future where conservative values are a thing of the past. We can’t let that happen.
This bill is a blueprint. Other states should follow New Hampshire’s lead. We need to stand up against the woke agenda and protect our children from indoctrination.
