Bill Berrien Announces Run for Wisconsin Governor
Bill Berrien, a manufacturing executive and former Navy SEAL, has officially launched his Republican campaign for governor of Wisconsin. He aims to challenge the current administration and bring a fresh perspective to the state.
In an exclusive interview, Berrien expressed his determination to move away from what he described as the “reverse” policies of Democrat Governor Tony Evers. He believes this election is highly winnable and is committed to making it “the Wisconsin century.”
Berrien criticized Evers, calling him a “tax and spend” Democrat, and argued that his leadership has not benefited the state. He emphasized his background as a businessman, similar to former President Trump, stating, “We need to take back Madison for Wisconsinites.”
As the CEO of Pindel Global Precision and Liberty Precision, Berrien has prioritized revitalizing Wisconsin manufacturing, restoring law and order, and strengthening families as key points of his campaign. He believes that Wisconsin has the potential to become a global manufacturing leader once again.
Berrien remarked, “Wisconsin is the best of the country. We make things, we build things, we work with our hands.” He is inspired by Trump’s emphasis on American manufacturing and aims to utilize this momentum to reshape Wisconsin’s landscape.
Despite Trump’s successful campaign in Wisconsin back in 2024, Berrien noted the recent challenges faced by Republicans, including a recent judicial election lost to a Democrat-backed candidate. He stressed the importance of having a Republican governor to ensure conservative policies are upheld throughout the state.
He supports implementing work requirements for Medicaid and views Trump’s legislative initiatives as a way to bolster Wisconsin’s economy. With plans to promote business incentives and foster technological investments, Berrien is determined to lead Wisconsin into a prosperous future.
