Morgan Wallen didn’t wait long to celebrate after his recent performance on Saturday Night Live. The 31-year-old country singer appeared as the musical guest on the show’s March 29 episode. The night marked a special occasion as Mikey Madison hosted for the first time, fresh off her Best Actress win at the 2025 Oscars for her role in the film Anora.
During the show’s conclusion, Madison thanked everyone involved and remarked, “I had a wonderful time.” As the cameras rolled, Wallen shared a moment with her, leaning in to whisper something before making his exit from the stage.
Shortly afterward, Wallen took to Instagram to share a photo of a private jet adorned with the words “Get me to God’s country,” hinting at his excitement for what was next.
In his set for SNL, Wallen performed "I’m the Problem," one of the tracks from his upcoming album of the same name. He later returned to perform another song, “Just in Case,” showcasing his talents and what fans can expect from his new release.
This appearance on SNL came five years after Wallen’s controversial debut in 2020, when he was pulled from a scheduled gig due to being photographed at a party without a mask, violating COVID-19 protocols. His initial performance featured songs like “7 Summers” and “Still Goin’ Down,” along with a comedic sketch addressing his past controversies.
As fans await Wallen’s new album, which is set to drop on May 16, they can look forward to the next episode of Saturday Night Live airing April 5, featuring Jack Black as the host with musical guests Elton John and Brandi Carlile.
