Millie Bobby Brown, known for her role in “Stranger Things,” has found a home in Atlanta, Georgia. She says growing up while filming the show there made her want to stay and start a family in the South.
Brown’s parents chose to live in Georgia to keep her grounded, away from the Hollywood lifestyle. She values her work but believes it’s important to have a life outside of acting.
She now lives on a farm with her husband, Jake Bongiovi. Brown has embraced farm life not as a trend, but because she genuinely enjoys it. She emphasized that it’s hard work, not just an aesthetic.
Brown and Bongiovi got married in May 2024. They adopted a baby girl this summer. Brown says she wanted to be a young mom, just like her own mother.
Brown and Bongiovi are sharing parenting duties equally. They are protective of their daughter and want her to decide when and if she wants to share her story with the world.
At the “Stranger Things” Season 5 premiere, Brown mentioned that her co-star, Noah Schnapp, is her daughter’s godfather. Sadie Sink is also allowed to babysit.
The final season of “Stranger Things” is being released in three parts, with the last episode airing on December 31.
