Meghan Markle is marking a special occasion in her family life. The Duchess of Sussex recently shared intimate photos of her daughter, Princess Lilibet, in honor of her 4th birthday.
In a series of posts on social media, Meghan gave followers a look into her life as a mother alongside her husband, Prince Harry. One of the highlights was a throwback video showing the couple at the hospital moments before Lilibet’s birth.
"Four years ago today, this also happened. Both of our children were a week past their due dates… so when spicy food, all that walking, and acupuncture didn’t work – there was only one thing left to do!" she wrote, capturing the joy and challenges of parenthood.
Following this, Meghan posted touching photos of Harry holding Lilibet as a baby. "The sweetest bond to watch unfold. Daddy’s little girl and favorite adventurer. Happy birthday Lili!" she shared, expressing her love and admiration for her family.
Meghan also thanked her followers for their birthday wishes, saying, "Happy birthday to our beautiful girl! Four years ago today she came into our lives – and each day is brighter and better because of it. Thanks to all of those sending love and celebrating her special day!"
The Duchess reflected on her experiences as a mother during a podcast episode, sharing that her journey didn’t unfold as she initially imagined. "I will say… I’ve always wanted to be a mom," she shared, reminiscing about the expectations she had before becoming a parent.
Meghan, originally an American actress, became the Duchess of Sussex after marrying Prince Harry in 2018. Their son, Archie, was born in 2019, and the couple welcomed Lilibet in 2021. After stepping back from royal duties, they now raise their children in Montecito, California.
