A woman in Michigan is in trouble after allegedly throwing hot coffee at a McDonald’s worker.
The incident happened on Tuesday at a McDonald’s in Buena Vista Township. Police were called after the manager reported being attacked.
Someone recorded the event, and the video shows the woman was angry because her online order was canceled, except for the coffee. The McDonald’s worker explained that the order was automatically canceled after some time, but she would get her money back. Another manager had apparently told the woman this earlier.
The video shows the customer taking the lid off her coffee and throwing it at the worker, who had her back turned.
The woman then yelled some bad words and left the store. The worker screamed after being hit with the hot coffee.
Police are looking for the woman. They know who she is but haven’t found her yet. They have asked the local prosecutor to charge her with assault.
