The wife of New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, Rama Duwaji, is facing backlash. Why? Because of social media posts from her teenage and early adult years that appear to celebrate terrorists.
In one instance, Duwaji posted a photo of Leila Khaled, a notorious figure in the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP). Khaled is a known terrorist who participated in multiple plane hijackings.
In another post from when she was 17, Duwaji reposted a tweet praising terrorist Shadia Abu Ghazaleh, who was involved in the bombing of an Israeli bus. These aren’t harmless opinions; they’re endorsements of violence.
Anti-American Sentiments Exposed
It doesn’t stop there. Duwaji’s social media also contained harsh criticisms of the U.S. military. She accused American soldiers of “mercilessly slaughtering 3rd world civilians.”
Such blatant anti-American sentiment is shocking, especially coming from someone now closely tied to a major political figure. It raises serious questions about her values and worldview.
Even worse, following the Oct. 7 terror attack on Israel that left 1,200 dead, Duwaji allegedly liked posts critical of Israel and questioning the veracity of reporting on the atrocities.
