Luke Combs Delivers Memorable Performance at Stagecoach
Luke Combs entertained fans with an unforgettable show during his headlining set at Stagecoach Festival in Indio, California, on Sunday, April 27. The popular country singer surprised the crowd by bringing out his friend, Garth Brooks, to perform the classic hit "Friends in Low Places."
The duo engaged the audience as they alternated singing the lyrics, building excitement as the crowd joined in for the chorus.
Combs, 35, opened the show with a selection of his biggest hits, and it was clear he had more surprises planned. Notably, the band Good Charlotte joined him on stage to perform their 2002 anthem, "The Anthem." The Madden brothers, Joel and Benji, stayed for a fun rendition of Combs’ new track "Where the Wild Things Are" from his latest album, Gettin’ Old.
In another highlight, Combs teamed up with singer Bailey Zimmerman to debut their new song "Backup Plan," which they announced would be filmed live on stage, much to the crowd’s delight.
This performance marked Combs’ second time headlining at Stagecoach, following a successful show in 2022. This year, he was joined by fellow headliners Jelly Roll and Zach Bryan.
After his main set, Combs continued the excitement by performing with the Backstreet Boys, belting out their iconic hit "I Want It That Way" at the Palomino Stage.
Stagecoach lived up to its reputation for surprises, with Jelly Roll inviting an impressive nine special guests to his own headlining performance, showcasing the festival’s spirit of collaboration and celebration.
As Combs looks ahead, he has plans to perform at several notable festivals this year, including New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and Lollapalooza, further solidifying his place in the country music scene.
