California Life Coach Arrested for Multiple Murders
A life coach and activist from California, Sauntek Harris, was arrested on May 29, facing serious charges related to the deaths of four men over nearly two decades.
Harris, 44, was charged with the murders that began in 2002, as reported by the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office. Alongside him, 48-year-old Shaun Britton was charged with one count of murder as well.
According to previous reports, Harris was known for his work at a community center in Hunters Point. Allegations suggest that the violence started after he lost a fight and sought revenge.
The first murder linked to Harris and Britton reportedly took place on January 18, 2002, involving an assault rifle. Prosecutors described the act as part of a gang-related criminal activity.
Subsequent murders occurred in February and July of the same year, with victims Lorenzo Richards and Gerald White, the latter reportedly targeted for being a potential witness in a crime. The fourth murder, according to prosecutors, took place on August 10, 2019, and involved ambushing a victim.
Harris is also facing charges for firearm possession, related to past felony convictions including concealed firearm offenses.
Both men are currently in custody and will remain detained until trial, due to the risks they pose to public safety.
