Lexington County Man Receives 25-Year Sentence for Drug Trafficking
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – A man from Lexington County has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for his role in drug trafficking.
According to South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson, Walter Goad was convicted for trafficking over 200 grams of cocaine in Kershaw County. The case stemmed from a search conducted at Goad’s residence on October 3, 2016, where law enforcement officials discovered packaging materials consistent with the distribution of cocaine.
Goad will have to serve at least 85% of his sentence before he can apply for parole.
