Kelly Osbourne Sets the Record Straight on Ozzy’s Health
Kelly Osbourne is addressing recent rumors regarding her father, rock legend Ozzy Osbourne’s health. In a video shared on her Instagram Stories, Kelly stated that Ozzy is “not dying,” dismissing speculation that has been making the rounds online.
On July 11, Kelly explained to her followers that an AI-generated video falsely portraying her father’s state had been circulating. “It sounds like my dad but it’s fake,” she clarified. “The video suggests that he believes he will die soon, and I’m honestly shocked that people would create something so hurtful.”
Kelly acknowledged her father’s struggles with Parkinson’s disease but assured fans that he is not on the brink of death. “He has his challenges and his mobility has changed, but he’s not dying,” she emphasized.
The rumors have possibly stemmed from a past conversation involving her mother, Sharon Osbourne, who discussed a hypothetical scenario regarding a suicide pact if one of them were to suffer from severe illness. This topic was first introduced in Sharon’s 2007 book, but Kelly wants people to know that these discussions shouldn’t define their family’s current situation.
In another video, Kelly expressed her frustration with articles suggesting her parents are engaged in a suicide pact, calling it “nonsense” and a method for drawing attention.
Ozzy Osbourne is also making headlines with the announcement of his upcoming memoir, Last Rites, set for release on October 7. Despite the health scares and negative gossip, Kelly remains resolute in supporting her father’s journey and dismissing any unfounded claims about his well-being.
