Kathryn Dennis, who used to be on the show Southern Charm, is in trouble with the law. She was found guilty of driving under the influence (DUI) after being arrested earlier this year.
The 34-year-old was taken into custody in Berkeley County, South Carolina. The charges included DUI and having an open container of alcohol in her car. This happened back on May 20, 2024.
Now, she has to spend 30 days in jail. She is currently being held in the Berkeley County jail.
Police stopped Dennis because they thought she might be drunk. One officer said she had “glossy eyes” and smelled like alcohol. That’s why they arrested her for DUI.
This isn’t the first time Dennis has had problems with the law. Last year, a car registered to her was supposedly involved in a hit-and-run. The car hit a police officer who was helping with traffic near a school. The officer was hurt but got help right away. The car didn’t stop after hitting the officer but was later found at Dennis’s house.
Dennis left Southern Charm in January 2023 after being on the show for eight seasons.
