According to reports, these women say the incidents happened back in 2021. They worked at his houses in the Caribbean.
Iglesias is standing firm, saying these claims are “absolutely false.” He shared a message online saying he has never mistreated any woman. He expressed sadness over the accusations and vowed to defend himself.
The women making the claims are being represented by a group called Women’s Link Worldwide. They are using different names, Rebecca and Laura, to protect their privacy.
Rebecca says she’s speaking out for herself, for other women who might be in similar situations, and for her country, the Dominican Republic. Laura says she wants to make sure no woman ever has to experience what she claims she did.
Iglesias, who is also the father of singer Enrique Iglesias, has had a long and successful career. He’s won two Grammy Awards and is known around the world for his music.
