Josh Duhamel on Balancing Family Life with Hollywood Career
LOS ANGELES – Actor Josh Duhamel recently shared the difficulties of juggling his Hollywood career while prioritizing his family. In a candid interview, he emphasized that being a husband and father takes precedence over his work in the entertainment industry.
Duhamel, who is also launching a company called Gatlin, remarked, "The most important thing I do is be a good husband and a good father." He acknowledged the challenge of finding a healthy balance but expressed gratitude for his family life.
Living just outside of the hustle and bustle of city life in northwest Minnesota, Duhamel, his wife Audra, and their young son Shepherd reside in what Duhamel fondly calls their "doomsday cabin." The couple appreciates the stability that their rural home offers.
Praising his wife, Duhamel noted, "Audra is practical and great with the kids. She cuts through the noise, which I love about her."
Over the years, Duhamel has built a rustic cabin from scratch on their Minnesota property. He recently partnered with the Bobcat Company to enhance his land’s utility, acquiring specific tools to aid in his projects.
As part of his collaboration with Bobcat, Duhamel is also giving back to the community. His efforts include contributing equipment to support firefighters who battled wildfires in Los Angeles, reflecting his appreciation for their dedication and hard work.
Duhamel expressed pride in supporting the firefighting community, stating, "Any time I get a chance to help them, I jump at it." He believes that the equipment they provide is vital for ensuring safety and effectiveness during firefighting efforts.
Through his work with Bobcat, Duhamel is not only shaping his own property but also positively impacting the lives of those who protect communities during disasters.
In a world where many prioritize fame and fortune, Duhamel’s commitment to family and community stands out as a refreshing reminder of what truly matters.
