Josh Duhamel Discusses Testosterone Replacement Therapy and Its Benefits
Josh Duhamel recently shared his experiences with testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) during an interview with Men’s Health Lab. The 52-year-old actor emphasized that his decision to undergo TRT was partly influenced by his desire to stay youthful for his wife, Audra Mari, who is 31. Duhamel married Mari in 2022, and he believes it’s essential to maintain his vitality for her.
In addition to personal reasons, Duhamel mentioned that TRT has positively affected his overall well-being. He explained that it has boosted his energy levels, helping him feel more motivated and engaged in many areas of his life. “It allows me to be a better father, brother, and friend,” he stated, highlighting how TRT has improved his mental and physical health.
Duhamel has a son, Axl, with ex-wife Fergie, and a one-year-old son, Shepherd, with Mari. He expressed pride in being active and involved in their lives. He recalled how he noticed a decline in his energy levels over the years, which prompted him to seek medical advice. A doctor confirmed that his testosterone levels were low, leading him to start treatment.
The actor declared that TRT has "changed his world," allowing him to feel more like himself and be more physically active with his children. As he embarks on his new role as co-founder of Gatlan Health—an organization aimed at helping men regain their strength and confidence—Duhamel is excited to share his journey and encourage others to consider TRT if they face similar challenges.
