Allison Janney, a well-known actress, recently appeared on “Watch What Happens Live!” During a game, she and fellow actress Keri Russell were asked if there were any former co-stars they wouldn’t want to work with again. Both agreed, but Janney wouldn’t reveal the name, only hinting that the person is no longer alive.
Janney currently stars with Russell in the Netflix show “The Diplomat,” where Janney plays the President. She has spoken highly about working with Russell.
In a recent season, Bradley Whitford, who worked with Janney on “The West Wing,” joined the cast. Janney said it was easy and fun working with Whitford again because of their history.
Janney is highly decorated. During her time on “The West Wing,” Janney won four Emmy Awards for her role as C.J. Cregg. She later captured four more for her roles in “Masters of Sex” and the sitcom” Mom.” She also won an Academy Award for her role in “I, Tonya,” where she played Tonya Harding’s mother. She characterized her role as one of the cruelest people she’s ever played.
