Jana Kramer recently opened up about her feelings regarding breast implants during a podcast episode. The country singer, now 41, shared her thoughts on the popular cosmetic surgery while talking with guest Kristen Brust, who is contemplating getting a breast reduction and lift.
Kramer comforted Brust, expressing that seeking a cosmetic change for personal confidence isn’t superficial. She emphasized that any decision regarding body image should be made for oneself. “It has to be one hundred percent for you,” she said, revealing her own regrets about her breast surgery.
Reflecting on her past, Kramer shared that during her marriage, she felt insecure after learning of her husband’s infidelities. She recalled thinking that perhaps if she had larger breasts, he would find her more attractive and wouldn’t stray. Despite that, she later concluded that her decision to have the surgery should have been focused on her own desires.
After having two children, Kramer felt that her body had changed significantly. She expressed how the physical changes made her uncomfortable, leading her to consider surgery. “After the two kids, they just sagged really bad,” she shared, noting that her confidence took a hit.
Kramer, who had the procedure following her divorce from Mike Caussin, mentioned that she enjoyed her new look and had fun embracing her body post-divorce. She and Caussin, who shares two children with her, finalized their divorce in 2021 after a challenging relationship marred by his infidelities.
As she navigated her new life, Kramer embraced her body, but she is now reconsidering her choice. Expressing her desire for a more natural look, she stated, “I actually would like to take out my implants and just lift them again.” Kramer emphasized that when the time comes for another procedure, she may opt for a more natural approach, without implants.
With a fresh perspective on body image, Kramer continues to share her journey, urging listeners to prioritize their own happiness in any decisions they make.
