NEW YORK — J-Hope, a member of the popular K-pop group BTS, is gearing up for his first solo tour, “Hope on the Stage.” The tour is set to kick off on February 28 at the KSPO Dome in Seoul, where he will perform for three consecutive nights.
After his performances in Seoul, J-Hope will travel to several cities including Brooklyn, New York; Chicago; Mexico City; San Antonio; Oakland, California; Los Angeles; and international stops in Manila, Saitama, Singapore, Jakarta, Bangkok, Macau, Taipei, and Osaka.
The excitement for the tour was shared through J-Hope’s social media and the Weverse platform, which is managed by BTS’s label, Hybe. However, details about the North American leg of the tour will be announced later, primarily due to the impact of recent wildfires in California.
Just a few months ago, in October, J-Hope completed his mandatory military service in South Korea, becoming the second member of BTS to fulfill this duty. At a recent press conference at an army base in Wonju, he expressed gratitude towards his fans for their support during his service, saying, “I was able to finish healthy and safely thanks to my fans. Thank you so much for waiting and cheering me on.”
In 2022, J-Hope made history as the first South Korean act to headline the Lollapalooza festival in Chicago, solidifying his status not just as a group member but as a solo artist in his own right.
