A family in Ireland has tragically lost their lives in their home, just weeks after celebrating a special milestone.
Mark and Louise O’Connor, a married couple, were found dead in their home in Louth. Their adult son, Evan O’Connor, who had special needs, was also killed.
Police have arrested a man in his 30s in connection with the deaths. The suspect’s name hasn’t been released, and police haven’t said why they think he did it.
Authorities were called to the scene Monday morning after a care worker found Mark’s body near the entrance to the property. The bodies of Evan and Louise were then discovered inside the house.
Officials believe this was an isolated incident and that there is no further danger to the community.
The couple had recently celebrated their 33rd wedding anniversary on September 12th. Mark shared a loving message about Louise on social media, mentioning they were still very much in love and had recently paid off their mortgage.
Mark worked for an organization that helps people with disabilities, and Louise was a nurse who taught English to Ukrainian refugees.
