Heather Gay, known from “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,” has been talking about her recent weight loss and how it’s changed people’s perceptions of her. She lost 30 pounds using weight loss shots and says this has given her more control over her eating habits.
Gay mentioned that she feels she is judged differently now. She believes that when she was heavier, her outspoken personality was seen as funny, but now some people see her as overly aggressive.
Despite the change in her appearance, Gay insists she’s still the same person, with the only real difference being her clothes size. She finds it hard to accept that people are now more positive towards her because of her weight loss, when they used to be critical of her looks.
Gay has also been vocal about her issues with the Mormon church, where she grew up. She feels that the church places too much emphasis on women’s appearances. She wants her daughters to focus on being healthy and strong, rather than worrying too much about meeting unrealistic beauty standards.
She also mentioned how many people supported her weight loss journey compared to those who supported her decision to leave the church.
Gay is now working with Atkins, promoting their snacks as a way to maintain a healthy lifestyle for herself and her family. She likes that her children can see her eating normally while staying healthy.
