Prince Harry and Meghan Markle recently attended the Sundance Film Festival in Utah, showing their support for the documentary “Cookie Queens.”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, through their Archewell Productions, served as executive producers for the film. They attended a special screening and the official premiere.
“Cookie Queens,” directed by Alyssa Nahmias, tells the story of four Girl Scouts navigating the challenges and ambitions of selling cookies. The film looks at themes of childhood dreams, entrepreneurship, and the pressures of growing up.
The couple kept their attire casual for the festival events.
Meghan Markle spoke at the premiere, expressing pride in supporting “Cookie Queens.” She praised the film’s portrayal of American tradition and the complexities of girlhood.
Markle also mentioned her past as a Girl Scout, sharing that Thin Mints were always her favorite cookie.
She highlighted the film’s universal themes of family, community, and the pressures young girls face.
Regarding future projects, Markle expressed a desire to support creators with strong visions and impactful stories.
