Mrs. Guthrie had dinner with family on Saturday evening and was dropped off at her home around 9:48 p.m. A doorbell camera disconnected early Sunday morning. Later, a security camera detected motion, but the video is unavailable due to an inactive subscription. Shortly after that, Mrs. Guthrie’s pacemaker disconnected from an application on her phone.
Her family contacted the authorities after she did not attend church on Sunday morning. Upon checking her home, they found signs of a possible struggle, including what appeared to be blood drops.
Sheriff Nanos emphasized that everyone who has had recent contact with Mrs. Guthrie is being considered a person of interest, including family members, service providers, and anyone else who may have interacted with her. He said the family has been cooperative.
