Phoenix, Arizona – In a game that kept fans on the edge of their seats, the Minnesota Golden Gophers emerged victorious against the New Mexico Lobos in the Rate Bowl. The final score was 20-17 in overtime, thanks to a stunning play by Gophers wide receiver Jalen Smith.

Since taking the helm, Fleck has led the Golden Gophers to seven bowl victories, maintaining a perfect record in postseason games. Drake Lindsey’s performance was key to Minnesota’s success, completing 18 of 28 passes and throwing two touchdown passes, both to Jalen Smith.
