Childish Gambino, the stage name of Donald Glover, recently shared with fans that he experienced a stroke. This health scare led to the cancellation of his “The New World Tour” earlier this year.
Glover revealed that he sought medical help after suffering from a severe headache and vision problems. Doctors in Houston confirmed that he had suffered a stroke. He shared his experience with the audience at Tyler, the Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw festival, his first performance in over a year. He emphasized the importance of appreciating life and not taking health for granted.
The entertainer also mentioned that doctors discovered a hole in his heart, requiring him to undergo multiple surgeries. Glover, age 42, initially postponed some tour dates before ultimately canceling the entire tour due to his health concerns.
Despite these challenges, Glover expressed gratitude for the life he has lived and encouraged his fans to live their lives to the fullest. He sees his health issues as a reminder to cherish each day and strive for improvement.
