A very young child has tragically died after a shooting in Georgia. The baby girl, only 9 months old, was caught in the gunfire outside a motel near Atlanta.
The incident happened on Tuesday. Reports say the baby’s mother ran into a nearby room, desperately saying her child had been shot. Sadly, the little girl, named Aziah McDougle, was declared dead at the scene.
Police have arrested five men in connection with the shooting. Ladarrius Brown is facing serious charges, including murder and aggravated assault. He’s currently in jail.
Three other men, Jayvian Young, Camron Harris and Noah Martin also face charges.
Reports indicate the baby was hit by gunfire during a fight between two of the men. It’s not yet known if any of those arrested have lawyers.
