Three More Inmates Recaptured After New Orleans Jail Escape
Authorities in Louisiana announced that three more inmates who escaped from a New Orleans jail last month have been captured. This brings the total number of recaptured escapees to eight out of ten.
The first of the trio to be apprehended was Lenton Vanburen, who was arrested in Baton Rouge. He originally faced charges for parole violation, possession of a firearm by a felon, and illegal carrying of a weapon. Following his capture, he will face additional charges related to his escape.
