Applications for tickets to the much-anticipated 2026 World Cup will begin on September 10, according to FIFA’s announcement on Tuesday. This exciting tournament will see Canada, Mexico, and the United States sharing hosting duties, kicking off at the famous Azteca Stadium in Mexico City on June 11.
FIFA highlighted that due to expected high demand, ticket sales will be rolled out in phases. However, they have not confirmed whether dynamic pricing will be implemented, similar to the Club World Cup, where ticket prices varied significantly.
FIFA President Gianni Infantino expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming event. He stated, “We’re looking forward to welcoming the world back to North America. Canada, Mexico, and the United States will host what will be the biggest and greatest sporting event ever. We encourage fans everywhere to get ready to secure their place — these will be the most coveted seats in world sport.”
