Chef Guy Fieri is recovering after a mishap led to emergency surgery. Fieri, known for his energetic personality and love of food, was reportedly rushed to the hospital after a fall where he tore his quad muscle.
Fieri explained that he missed a step, causing his leg to extend awkwardly, resulting in a significant tear in his quad. Doctors say it was a severe injury.
The celebrity chef is now using a wheelchair and crutches while he recovers. He’s had to adjust his work schedule, including filming for his show “Flavor Town Food Fight.” Despite the setback, Fieri is trying to stay positive and find creative ways to continue filming.
This Thanksgiving, Fieri expects to take a backseat in the kitchen. With his leg needing rest for at least eight weeks, he plans to pass the cooking duties to his sons and nephew. He joked that his son Ryder is ready to put his cooking skills to the test.
Fieri faces a long road to recovery, including time in a cast and physical therapy. But he is determined to get back on his feet as soon as possible. He humorously noted that while he had his share of childhood injuries, he thought those days were behind him.
