Fieri joked in the video that after years of celebrating his birthday as “Guy,” he’d celebrate as “just a guy.” He then blew out the candles on his birthday cake.

But don’t worry, Fieri’s signature look isn’t gone for good. He’s trying out this new style for a Super Bowl commercial for Bosch home appliances. In the ad, he transforms into “Justaguy” Fieri.
This change comes after Fieri had surgery for a torn quad muscle. He explained that he had missed a step and injured his leg. This injury put him in a wheelchair for eight weeks.
