Guy Fieri and Kevin Costner, two well-known figures, recently connected over their shared dedication to giving back to our nation’s veterans and first responders.
During a conversation, Fieri praised Costner’s efforts with a program in Santa Barbara that supports these heroes. Fieri, whose own foundation focuses on “serving those who serve us,” expressed a desire to collaborate with Costner. His foundation provides meals to first responders during disasters and acknowledges the sacrifices of veterans and first responders across the country by visiting veterans’ homes and military bases.
Costner is involved with One805, a non-profit that supports first responders in Santa Barbara County. He humbly downplayed his contributions, but Fieri emphasized the importance of recognizing those who protect our freedoms.
Fieri has previously voiced his opinion that not enough is being done to honor veterans and first responders. He believes that every citizen should pay more attention to the military and veterans, calling them “unsung heroes.”
