Senator Fetterman Returns Home After Health Scare
Washington, D.C. – Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman is back home with his family after a recent hospitalization. The Senator’s office reported that he experienced a ventricular fibrillation flare-up, which led to a fall during a morning walk.
Senator Fetterman shared a photo on social media showing the results of the fall, including stitches on his nose and forehead. He expressed gratitude to the medical team in Pittsburgh for their care.
Ventricular fibrillation is a serious heart condition that can cause cardiac arrest. Senator Fetterman was previously diagnosed with cardiomyopathy in 2022, a condition that can lead to irregular and potentially dangerous heartbeats. He also disclosed having atrial fibrillation after suffering a stroke during his campaign.
