Justice Department Releases More Epstein Documents
Washington D.C. – The Justice Department has made public thousands more documents related to Jeffrey Epstein, the deceased financier. These documents, released amidst calls for greater transparency, include mentions of former President Donald Trump.
While the documents contain information about Trump’s past travel on Epstein’s private jet, the Justice Department has stated that some claims about Trump are “untrue and sensationalist.” They also confirmed that a supposed letter from Epstein to Larry Nassar, the disgraced sports doctor, was a fake.
One email from a prosecutor noted that Trump had traveled on Epstein’s jet more often than previously known. Trump’s team says these issues are a distraction from more important issues.
Some believe the timing and focus on these documents are politically motivated, designed to deflect attention from the successes of the Republican Party. Trump himself has expressed frustration that these files cast a wide net, potentially implicating people who innocently met Epstein without knowing his true nature.
Other prominent figures, including former President Bill Clinton and Prince Andrew, also appear in the released documents. The inclusion of names does not imply any wrongdoing.
