Elon Musk is scheduled to make his first-ever speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) this Thursday. The announcement came as a surprise to many, as CPAC organizers revealed that Musk, who heads the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), would address the gathered attendees.
This year’s conference also features notable speakers, including former President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance, immigration leader Tom Homan, and several prominent conservative figures. During the opening ceremony, Vance highlighted the key achievements of the Trump administration during its initial month back in office.
Since Trump’s return to the presidency, Musk has faced significant criticism from the left, primarily due to his initiatives at DOGE aimed at eliminating wasteful government spending, particularly in programs supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion. According to DOGE, Musk’s efforts have already saved taxpayers an impressive $44 billion by cutting unnecessary expenditures.
As CPAC approaches, many conservative supporters are eager to hear Musk’s thoughts and plans, particularly in an environment that values fiscal responsibility and limited government.
