“Duck Dynasty” Stars Speak Out on “Woke” Policies Making Cities Unlivable
Al and Jase Robertson, known from the “Duck Dynasty” show, have voiced concerns about the direction some American cities are taking. In a recent episode of their podcast, “Unashamed with the Robertson Family,” they discussed how certain policies are affecting the livability of cities like Seattle and San Francisco.
Al Robertson pointed to Seattle as an example, saying the city has declined in recent years due to what he sees as a move away from traditional values. He mentioned a new policy where people are allowed to do drugs in the street. “We’ve unshackled any idea of trying to have some order in this chaos,” he said.
Seattle’s mayor, Katie Wilson, has said that the policy regarding arresting drug offenders remains unchanged. According to Wilson officers use their discretion around when it’s appropriate to do an arrest
Al Robertson shared his personal experience, recalling how he and his wife once enjoyed walking through Seattle. However, he said that in recent years, they’ve become afraid to even leave their hotel because of the deteriorating conditions.
Jase Robertson added that he’s noticed similar problems in other cities, including San Francisco. He believes that when cities prioritize worldly values over traditional ones, the result is often a decline in order and cleanliness. “You see the filth,” Jase said, “You see the opposite of a beautiful garden that is expanding. Instead, what it is, it becomes a trash dump that is shrinking. Which sounds a whole lot like hell, right?”
The Robertsons’ comments highlight a growing concern among conservatives about the impact of progressive policies on American cities. They argue that a return to traditional values and a focus on personal responsibility are needed to restore order and improve the quality of life in these communities.
