A man named Anthony Russian, 29, has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly shooting another man over a parking dispute in Miami. The incident occurred on April 11 outside an Airbnb in the Wynwood area.
According to police, Russian was upset that the victim was taking too long to park. He confronted the man after honking his horn and reportedly pulled out a gun when he felt frustrated. The gun malfunctioned twice before Russian shot the victim in the foot as he tried to walk away.
The police responded to reports of gunfire around 11 p.m. that night, finding the victim bleeding from his injury. He had been staying at the Airbnb with his girlfriend and cousin. The victim managed to drive himself to Ryder Trauma Center for treatment.
Russian was later identified by the victim in a photo lineup and was arrested on May 7 at a location in Miami Beach. He is currently being held without bond on charges of attempted murder and using a firearm during a felony.
