Subway Stabbing Incident in Manhattan
In a shocking event on Wednesday morning, two men were stabbed on a crowded subway train in Manhattan during rush hour. The incident occurred around 7:15 a.m. as the train approached the busy Grand Central station, which connects to various commuter lines.
The victims, a 28-year-old and a 32-year-old, were both attacked in the abdomen. Fortunately, both are currently in stable condition after being taken to the hospital.
According to police reports, the altercation stemmed from a disagreement between the suspect and the older victim. The younger victim was reportedly an innocent bystander caught in the chaos.
Footage from the scene shows a man in a black jacket stabbing the older victim multiple times as he tried to defend himself. The suspect then fled the scene with a yellow bag taken from the bench.
Authorities initially detained a person of interest but later released them. As of now, the suspect remains unidentified, and police are actively searching for him.
