Sean “Diddy” Combs has been given a prison sentence of 50 months. This happened after he was found guilty on charges related to prostitution.
In court, the 55-year-old rapper said he was sorry to his family. He also said his actions were “disgusting” and that his children “deserve better.”
The judge said a long sentence was needed to show that hurting women has serious consequences.
Diddy’s lawyers asked for a shorter sentence. Because he already spent some time in jail, he will now be in prison for three years. He also has to pay a $500,000 fine and will be watched for five years after he gets out of prison.
