An Ohio couple, Spencer and Monique Tepe, were found dead in their home in Columbus on December 30th. Authorities are investigating their deaths as homicides.
Police were called to the house after someone requested a welfare check. The coroner’s office says it looks like both Spencer and Monique died from gunshot wounds. However, the official cause of death will be confirmed after further tests, like toxicology reports, are completed.
Reports say that Spencer’s coworker got worried when he didn’t show up for work. A friend who went to check on the couple heard their children crying inside the house.
The family shared a statement saying Spencer and Monique were loving and kind people. They are heartbroken by what happened and want justice.
A fundraising page has been created to support the couple’s two children. Police are asking anyone with information about the case to come forward and contact them.
